Decision order for late arrivals

  1. Check your target area route page and verify if the last airport bus still works for your arrival time.
  2. If bus is difficult, check AREX first/last operation and transfer feasibility with luggage.
  3. If both are risky, choose taxi directly to avoid missing city transfer windows.

Option 1

Airport bus

Most convenient if your route still has a valid last departure.

Option 2

AREX + transfer

Lower cost, but transfer friction rises at late hours.

Option 3

Taxi

Most stable when arrival is close to midnight or later.

Night bus routes to Seoul (important)

For late-night arrivals, airport night buses N6701 and N6703 are key options. Coverage differs by corridor, so check each route's basic stop information before selecting your plan.

Tip: Use route basic info and stop list to confirm which Seoul area is closest to your hotel.

AREX at midnight: usually difficult

Around midnight, AREX availability and transfer windows become tight for many travelers. If arrival processing takes longer than expected, bus or taxi can be more reliable than forcing a late train transfer.

Check AREX timetable page

If your hotel is in Myeongdong after midnight

  • Check route 6001 or 6015 first if your airport exit time is still within the last usable departure window.
  • If those do not work, night-bus coverage and the final walk to your hotel matter more than headline fare.
  • Once timing gets tight, taxi or private transfer is usually the cleaner answer than forcing a late AREX connection.
